A cornhole bracket maker that keeps up with the bags

LiveCup is a web app for running cornhole tournaments and leagues. Add your teams, let them sign up by QR code, or paste a list of players and let LiveCup draw the pairs. The games, losers bracket and standings are built for you, with byes when the count is odd. Enter the final score after each game, or score it inning by inning, and winners move forward on their own. Put it on the bar TV so nobody has to ask who plays next.

Double elimination

Every team gets two losses before it is out, so one bad game does not end the night. The winners bracket, losers bracket and final are generated and kept in sync, and odd team counts get byes instead of fake "Bye" teams.

  • Winners and losers bracket
  • Automatic byes, top seeds first
  • Winners move forward automatically

Everyone plays everyone

Round robin / league

Best for small fields and weekly leagues. Every team plays every other team and the points table decides the order.

  • Full schedule generated
  • Points table with differential
  • Automatic tiebreakers
Games for everyone

Pools + double elimination

Teams play a few pool games first, then the top teams move into a double elimination bracket. Everyone gets several games, and an odd number of qualifiers is handled with byes. A single elimination playoff works too.

  • Pools drawn for you
  • Top teams seeded into the bracket
  • Double or single elimination playoff

Planning the night

Running a blind draw night?

A step-by-step guide to the draw, the byes and inning scoring, plus a generator for the double elimination bracket.

Blind draw and byes

From a list of names to a full bracket

Players show up one by one. Paste their names, draw the pairs and build the bracket from them. Nobody has to place byes by hand.

Blind draw in one click

Paste the players who showed up, one name per line. LiveCup draws random pairs and adds each one as a team. Not happy with the draw? Redraw before you save. Optional A and B pools give every pair one player from each, and with an odd count you choose whether one player sits out or plays alone.

Byes go to the top seeds

Thirteen teams? Seven? Any count works in single and double elimination. The top seeds get the byes and go straight to round two, so there are no fake "Bye" teams to add or remove. The losers bracket is built and kept in sync for you.

Score it your way

Enter just the final score, or score every inning. Either way, LiveCup does the bookkeeping.

Final score, or every inning

Set the game to 11, 15 or 21 and type the final score, or tap the winner if you only care who advances. Want more? Turn on inning scoring (included on every plan): enter bags in the hole and on the board for each side, and cancellation scoring is worked out for you.

Table order that makes sense

Teams are ranked by points, then by point differential. The default is 2 points for a win and 1 for a loss, and you can change it in the tournament settings.

Bust rule and stats, if you play them

With inning scoring on, you can add the bust rule: go over the target and drop back to 15, or a number you pick. Every game builds PPR, DPR and four-bagger stats for each team.

Inning scoring

Score every inning on a phone

Turn on inning scoring for a tournament and every game gets a scorer: bags in the hole and on the board for each side, one tap per bag. LiveCup does the cancellation math and keeps the running score.

  • Cancellation scoring done for you: only the difference counts each inning
  • Optional bust rule: go over the target and drop back to 15, or a number you pick
  • Undo the last inning or edit any inning when someone tapped the wrong number
  • Score from the match page, or on PRO hand it to a referee or to the players through their own link
  • PPR, DPR and four-baggers for every team, on the match page and in a Stats tab
  • The final score still goes to the bracket, the table and the TV

Inning scoring works on every plan. Only need the final score? That works too.

Everything a cornhole organizer needs

Built for the yard, the bar and the brewery patio, not the office.

Live bracket

Enter a score and the winner moves forward. Players check the bracket on their phones instead of asking you.

Boards and schedule

On PRO, tell LiveCup how many boards you have. Games are put on boards, the schedule and TV say "board", not court, and the next game is called as soon as a board opens up.

TV mode for the bar

Show the bracket, standings and next games on any screen. It updates by itself, no refresh needed.

Public bracket and match pages

Send one link to the whole crowd. Each game has its own page with the score, the board and live updates. No app to install, no sign-up to watch.

QR sign-up, as teams or pairs

Print the code or put it on a sign. Teams enter their name from their phones, or on PRO, sign up as a pair with both player names.

Blind draw and rotating partners

Paste a list of players and LiveCup draws random pairs, with optional A and B skill pools. Or run an Americano where everyone gets a new partner each round.

Cornhole tournament FAQ

How does a double elimination cornhole bracket work?

Every team starts in the winners bracket. Lose once and you drop to the losers bracket, lose twice and you are out. The winner of each bracket meets in the final. LiveCup builds both brackets and moves teams between them when you enter a score.

How many games and how long does an 8 or 16 team cornhole bracket take?

A double elimination bracket takes about two games per team: 8 teams play 14 or 15 games and 16 teams play 30 or 31. How long that runs depends on your boards and how fast your games go. The tournament calculator does the math for your setup.

Can teams sign up themselves?

Yes. Share or print the QR code and each team enters its name on its own phone. Teams do not need an account. You can still add or remove teams yourself at any time.

Do I have to track every bag, or just the final score?

Your choice. By default you enter the final score, for example 21 to 17, or tap the winner. If you want more, turn on inning scoring (it works on every plan): enter bags in the hole and on the board for each side every inning, and LiveCup applies cancellation scoring, an optional bust rule and builds PPR, DPR and four-bagger stats. The final score still goes to the bracket, the table and the TV.

What if I have an odd number of teams?

The bracket adds byes automatically, in single and double elimination. The top seeds get the byes and move to the next round without playing, so there are no fake "Bye" teams to place or remove. You do not have to arrange anyone by hand.

Can I run a blind draw cornhole night?

Yes, and the blind draw is included on every plan. Paste the list of players who showed up and LiveCup draws random pairs. You can split players into A and B pools so every pair gets one of each. With an odd count, you choose whether one player sits out or plays alone. Then build the bracket from the drawn pairs.

Is there a free plan, and what is the limit?

Yes. The free plan covers tournaments with up to 4 teams, and you can build and look at a bracket before you create an account. For a bigger night, a one-time Event Pass unlocks one tournament with up to 32 teams. Inning scoring works on every plan. The PRO plan gives you 32 teams in every tournament plus boards with autopilot, pair sign-up and player score links.

Can I run a weekly cornhole league with standings?

Yes. Use the round robin or league format for a table that ranks teams by points and point differential. Teams join by QR code, and you enter results as each league night is played.
