Korfball tournament software for clubs and schools
LiveCup is a web app for organizing korfball tournaments and club competitions. Pick a format, add teams or let captains register by QR code, and the schedule, group tables, tiebreakers and knockout bracket are generated for you. Enter the score from your phone, and players, parents and spectators follow every match and the live table on their own phones or on the TV in the hall.
Formats for every korfball event
From a school korfball morning to a season-long club competition.
League (round robin)
The format for a club competition or a one-day tournament with a handful of teams. A table with points, goal difference and head-to-head.
- Schedule generated for you
- Automatic tiebreakers
- Draws allowed: 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw
Groups + knockout
Groups first, then a knockout stage. Every team gets several matches and the day ends with a real final.
- Groups drawn for you
- Group winners seeded into the bracket
- Third-place match
Cup (knockout)
Straight elimination when the hall is booked for a few hours. Byes and seeding are handled, and a penalty shoot-out result decides a draw.

- Penalty shoot-out results
- Double elimination also available
A korfball calendar your players and parents actually check
Between club training, away trips and school fixtures, the same questions come back every week: when do we play, who do we play, where are we in the table. Put the calendar in one place and stop answering them one by one.
A calendar for the whole competition
Generate the fixtures once. Every team sees its next match and the time.
No more screenshots

Korfball tournament organizer: questions
How many teams fit in a one-day korfball tournament?
It depends on the hall time and the match length. LiveCup defaults to 50 minutes per match, but tournament days are often played as two short halves of 10 to 15 minutes. Set the match length to what you really play, then use the tournament calculator to check how many matches fit on your pitches before you book the hall.
Should I run a league or groups + knockout?
A league is right when every team can play every other team, which is the normal case for a club competition and for small tournaments. Choose groups + knockout when you have more teams than time: groups give everyone several matches, then the best teams play a knockout stage and a final.
How are points awarded?
By default a win is worth 2 points, a draw 1 and a loss 0. Draws are allowed in the group stage and the league. You can change the point values in the tournament settings if your competition uses a different system.
Does LiveCup handle mixed teams?
Korfball teams are mixed, with four women and four men on the pitch. LiveCup does not check or enforce the gender of players. It organizes the teams, schedule and results, and your referees and organizers keep applying the korfball rules.
Can players register their own team?
Yes. Share a QR code or link and captains register with the team name and contact details. You approve the teams, so you stay in control of the list.
Can I show the table on the TV in the hall?
Yes. Open the TV link on any screen or projector and it rotates the standings, the next matches and the results automatically.
Is there a free plan, and what is the limit?
Yes. The free plan lets you run a tournament with up to 4 teams. PRO raises the limit to 32 teams and BUSINESS to 64. You can create the tournament and see the schedule before you decide.
Can I run a season-long club competition?
Yes. Choose the league format and the schedule covers every team playing every other team, with a second leg as an option. Enter results week by week and the table keeps itself current. The league table generator page shows how the standings work.
