One tap, one action. After a try, a conversion modal pops up automatically with a 45-second timer. Every event is timestamped and editable.
Sin-bin live countdown
Yellow card triggers the countdown (10 minutes for Union, 2 for Sevens). Visible on the operator panel and on the public spectator view. Red cards stay visible until full time.
Bonus points, automatic
+1 point for scoring 4 or more tries, +1 point for losing by 7 points or fewer. Standings update instantly with dedicated BP-T and BP-L columns.
Tries scored as the tiebreaker
When points and points difference are tied, the team with more tries ranks higher. Standard rugby tiebreaker, wired by default.
Union 15s and Sevens 7s presets
Pick a preset — match duration, sin-bin length and bonus thresholds load automatically. Override any value if you're running a tournament with custom rules.

Frequently asked questions
Does it support both Rugby Union 15s and Rugby Sevens 7s?▾
Yes — you pick a preset when you create the tournament. Sin-bin duration, bonus point thresholds, match length and points per win switch to the right defaults. You can override any value for non-standard tournaments.
How are bonus points calculated?▾
Standard rugby rules: +1 point if your team scored 4 or more tries in a match, +1 point if you lost by 7 points or fewer. Both bonuses can be earned in the same match. Thresholds are configurable per tournament.
How does the sin-bin work?▾
A yellow card opens a countdown timer (default 10 minutes for Union, 2 minutes for Sevens — configurable). The timer is visible on the operator panel and on the public spectator URL, so fans at the pitch can see who's coming back and when.
How much does it cost?▾
The free plan covers one active tournament at a time, up to 4 teams — including live scoring, sin-bin and bonus points. For bigger tournaments or premium features (custom TV branding, sponsor ticker, operator codes), there's a Premium plan.
Do teams have to create accounts?▾
No. The organiser shares a QR code or invite link and players register in one click. The organiser can also enter teams manually from the dashboard. There are no player accounts — players just follow the tournament via the link.
Can LiveCup handle a big tournament with multiple pitches?▾
Yes. The TV view auto-rotates between live matches with a configurable interval (10/20/30/60 seconds). When a try or card just happened, the rotation pauses for an extra 15 seconds — spectators don't miss the action. We can handle even the biggest tournaments.
