Ultimate frisbee tournament organizer without the spreadsheet scramble

Ultimate frisbee tournament software for the field
LiveCup is a web app for organizing ultimate frisbee tournaments and club leagues. Pick a format, add teams or let captains register by QR code, and the schedule, pool standings, tiebreakers and bracket are generated for you. After each game, enter the final score from your phone and the standings update. Put them on a TV or projector at the tournament site, and give players one link for their phones.

A league calendar your players actually check
Running a weeknight ultimate league means the same questions every week: when do we play, which field, where are we in the standings. Put the calendar in one place and stop answering them one by one.
A weekly calendar
Generate the whole season's fixtures once. Every team sees its next game, the time and the field.
No more screenshots
The standings are not a picture you repost after each round. Enter the score and the table changes for everyone.
One link for everyone
Send a single link to players, spectators and volunteers. It opens on any phone, with nothing to install.

Ultimate frisbee tournament organizer: questions
How many teams fit in a one-day ultimate tournament?
It depends on fields and game length. If a game to 15 with a time cap fills a 90-minute slot, one field fits about 5 games in a 7.5-hour day. With two fields that is 10 games, enough for a full league of 4 teams (6 games) plus a final. For more teams, use pools with a bracket, add fields, or shorten the slot. Use the tournament calculator to check your numbers before you book the site.
Should I run a league or pools + bracket?
A league is right when every team can play every other team, which is the normal case for a club league and for small tournaments. Choose pools + bracket when you have more teams than time: pools give everyone several games, then the best teams play a bracket and a final.
How are scores handled?
You enter the final score after each game, whether it ended at the target or at the time cap. The standings, the match page and the TV update immediately.
Can captains register their own team?
Yes. Share a QR code or link and captains register with the team name and contact details. You approve the teams, so you stay in control of the list.
How are ties in the standings decided?
The standings use points and point difference, with further tiebreakers in the order you choose. You can also change the points for a win and a loss to match your league rules.
Can I run a hat tournament?
Yes. Do your draw as you normally would, then add the resulting teams and generate pools and a bracket. The schedule and standings work the same way as for any other event.
Is there a free plan, and what is the limit?
Yes. The free plan lets you run a tournament with up to 4 teams. PRO raises the limit to 32 teams and BUSINESS to 64. You can create the tournament and see the schedule before you decide.
Can I run a season-long club league?
Yes. Choose the league format and the schedule covers every team playing every other team, with a second leg as an option. Enter scores week by week and the table keeps itself current. The league table generator page shows how the standings work.
